A critical synthesis of the state of the art on a focused engineering topic that identifies trends, gaps, and future research directions. A simple list of previous studies is not accepted.

Title, abstract, keywords, Introduction, review method (literature search strategy and selection criteria), thematic body sections, discussion of gaps and outlook, Conclusion, References.

Case Study Article

Original case studies focused on mechatronics, electrical power, and vehicular technology as well as related topics with systematic data collection and analysis (e.g., industrial case studies, condition assessments).

Same as Research Article; the Method section must describe the case study design, sampling, and instruments
