STRATEGI BELAJAR DALAM PROGRAM PUBLIC SPEAKING BERDASARKAN GENDER

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memverifikasi hasil penelitian tentang bagaimana gender mempengaruhi strategi belajar pada program Public Speaking. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan dilakukan di Program Study Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuisener. Setelah menganalisa data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi belajar yang digunakan oleh siswa dalam program public speaking adalah strategi memori, strategi kognitif, strategi kompensasi, strategi metakognitif, strategi afektif, dan strategi sosial. Siswa putra maupun siswa putri menggunakan strategi yang sama dalam pembelajaran public speaking. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa gender tidak mempengaruhi strategi belajar dalam program public speaking.
