Peer Review Process

The review policy of JAPP: Jurnal Akuntansi, Perpajakan dan Portofolio is as follows:

  1. All articles published in JAPP: Jurnal Akuntansi, Perpajakan dan Portofolio are reviewed by two independent reviewers.

  2. The journal applies a double-blind review system.

  3. Plagiarism screening for all submitted manuscripts is conducted by the editorial team and reviewers, supported by Turnitin plagiarism detection.

  4. Reviewers may provide one of the following four (4) recommendations:

    1. Accept Submission – The article is accepted without the need for revision.

    2. Revisions Required – Revisions are requested, but a re-review is not necessary. Once revised, the manuscript proceeds directly to the editing stage.

    3. Resubmit for Review – Revisions are required, and the revised manuscript must undergo another round of review.

    4. Decline Submission – The manuscript is rejected due to not meeting the required quality standards.

  5. In conducting the review, reviewers evaluate the following aspects: novelty of the topic, objectivity, methodology, scientific impact/implications, conclusions, and references.

  6. The acceptance of an article by the Editor is based on the recommendations provided by the reviewers.
