Abstract

Currently, awareness of the importance of preserving biodiversity is needed. Not only for the interests of the Indonesian people, but also for the interests of the world community as a whole and oriented long-term interest. To improve the welfare of mankind, it is necessary to have good natural resource management. From the various benefits and importance of water resources for human life on this earth, the authors here examine the "Transfer of Water Resources Management in Bekiring Pulung Village, Ponorogo Regency". The sources of this research are words, actions, and the rest are documents related to the research theme and data from various sources in accordance with the research theme. So in this study the researcher used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach on how the policies carried out by the Bekiring Village Government in the management of water sources. Because later the results of this research can improve the community and village government in improving better water management policies. The results of this study indicate this program is in utilizing natural resources on a village scale to improve the welfare and prosperity of the community. The village government manages water resources with the aim of advancing and prospering the Bekiring village community. This of course can be one of the income for the village in terms of utilizing water resources in Bekiring village through BUMDes Management. So that with this BUMDes, the economy in Bekiring village can run well.
