This study aims to determine how the performance of the Public Works Service in conducting pedestrian activities related to the arrangement of benches on the sidewalk of Soekarno-Hatta street and what factors are the factors behind the Public Works Department in arranging benches on the sidewalks of Soekarno-Hatta street. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The approach used in this research is an approach. Qualitative is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The results of this research are the Public Works Department of Ponorogo Regency in conducting pedestrian activities related to the arrangement of benches on the sidewalks of Soekarno-Hatta roads in accordance with the procedures regarding planning guidelines, provision, and utilization of infrastructure and facilities for pedestrian networks in urban areas which are carried out starting from the revitalization of sidewalk construction. can be used by pedestrians, then arrangement of seating benches which are used for tourism branding and can also be used by the community. Constructing culverts for waterways under the sidewalks Rehabilitation of the sidewalks from Jl Soekarno-hatta-Jl Sumatra and the factors that become the reference for the construction of sidewalks and road pedestrians carried out by the Ponorogo Government due to: Slum area around the legi market Fixing a channel that stretches for four kilometers . Arrangement of the area along Jalan Soekarno Hatta. There are no adequate public facilities for pedestrians, parking facilities and other obstacles faced by legi market traders arise because the facilities for selling places for traders are not fulfilled.
