Carol Vorderman was left red-faced by Piers Morgan when he suggested she wear a 'maths school uniform' while appearing on Tuesday's Good Morning Britain.

EUxVU8FU0AAdiE4.jpg%5CThe former Countdown star, 59, called into the show via videolink to announce her new mathematics class for children, and added that there would also be a session for adults which Piers made a cheeky remark about.

Discussing her new project, Carol explained 'I'm going to go on YouTube to have a maths school for adults', before the Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, 반려동물 asked: 'Are you going to wear a maths uniform? The one adults will like'

Carol looked shocked in response, before getting in on the joke and adding: 'I'll tell you what I'm not going to do Piers, is tell you how to write boobs on a calculator.'

To which Piers quipped: 'Are you reading my mind carol?'

Earlier on, Carol explained that The Maths Factor would now be free for all primary school children, and will be for the foreseeable future.

'Please bear with us with server issues because as you can imagine it is being overloaded,' Carol added. 'Please bear with us we will get everyone on. 






Left red-faced: Carol explained that she would have a class for adults as well as primary school children, but the presenter, 54, asked: 'Are you going to wear a maths uniform?'


'This is the thing I'm most proud of, we know by doing four sessions with auntie Carol a week that a child will advance two and a half years in one year.

'Everyday we have photos of kids from parents who say oh my kid was struggling and now they're in the top set.'

Of her personal situation, and staying at home, she went on: 'I'm here with my son Cameron who is a big videogamer, and hasn't realised things have been going on.  I'm staying at home and being healthy.'

Carol showed off her ageless complexion as she called in from home, but some viewers did not feel the same way as they took to Twitter to critique her appearance.

One viewer wrote: 'Carol Vorderman looks like she's had an allergic reaction to some shrimp.'

While another said: 'Wow... Carol Vorderman has had a bit of work done!!' 

But another viewer criticised Piers' remark, saying: 'Piers Morgan asking carol to wear a "nice mathematical uniform, the ones that adults enjoy" on #goodmorningbritain is actually so degrading :/'

Hitting out at people criticising Carol for her appearance, other viewers of the show said it was a shame people were focused on her looks and not the classes she was setting up to help children.

One wrote: 'Wait, so Carol Vorderman is offering free maths lessons to kids across the country... but some people are instead more bothered about taking the s*** out of her appearance? Wow (sic).'

Reiterating that sentiment, another added: 'Carol Vorderman offers free maths lessons to kids during all that's going on, and all adults can talk about is how she looks? This world is actually terrible.'

And one said: 'People can chat as much s*** about Carol Vorderman as they like but she's doing more positive for people during this outbreak than you are! People can be so sour.'
