Ellen Pompeo was spotted out in Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighborhood on Sunday as she cooled off with a tasty smoothie.
The 50-year-old Grey's Anatomy star was joined by a friend who also had a drink and a snack as they took care of business in the city.
The actress looked sleek in a black dress with a high slit, which she wore with fuzzy white sandals.

Ellen contrasted the black dress with an angular brown handbag on the crook of her arm, and she had her dirty blonde locks parted down the center and cascading down her shoulders.
The 5ft7in actress matched her dress with a black mask to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, which has been surging in California and multiple other states in recent weeks.
Her friend was dressed casually in a gray-green graphic T-shirt and ripped gray shorts with black trainers.

Earlier this month, Ellen confirmed the suspicions of some of her longtime critics by admitting that she had stayed on Grey's Anatomy for fantacitync 15 years and mostly eschewed other acting roles because of her large paycheck.
'You know, I made choices to stay on the show,' she explained on the Jamele Hill Is Unbothered podcast.
'For me, personally, a healthy home life was more important than career.
I didn't grow up with a particularly happy childhood. So the idea that I have this great husband and these three beautiful children [and] a happy home life was really something I needed to complete, to close the hole in my heart.'
Pompeo continued, 'And so I made a decision to make money, and not chase creative acting roles, I don't like chasing anything ever, and acting to me, in my experience, was a lot of chasing.'

The actress mused that she might have sought out more adventurous roles had she started acting earlier, but she said her relatively late start on Grey's (at 33) and her decision to start having children at 40 made a secure future more of a necessity for her family.
Back in 2018, it was revealed that Ellen had negotiated a two-year contract with Grey's Anatomy for $20 million each year, continuing her streak as one of the highest-paid women in television.
After her salary was announced, the actress and producer had to fight back rumors that her pay bump had led the series to fire Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew.
'It's absolutely not true,' she said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Instead, she put the blame on the show's writers and the series' bloated length.

'There's a few problems that you encounter doing a show for 14 seasons, and one of them is that the writers have a really hard time creatively, you know, thinking up new stories for all these characters — I think we have 16 regular cast members,' she said.
'It's important for us to not pit women against each other and to dispel the notion that women are always victims,' she continued.
'You don't have to pit us against each other, we're not enemies, we do lift each other up and support each other, and we're not victims.'
Last month, it was revealed that three of the Grey's Anatomy leads, Kim Raver, Kevin McKidd and Camilla Luddington, had all signed on to the series for at least three more seasons, though a new contract with Ellen hasn't yet been announced.
